1. Cornhole Scoreboard with Magnetic Score Keepers

Let’s face it, it’s not always easy to keep score deep into a tailgating party and you never know when your opponent is going to try to pull a fast on one you. The solution is placing a magnetic strip score keeper to the back of your cornhole board that you can use to easily keep track of the score.

The only drawback to this type of scoreboard is that you have to bend over to move the magnets (but you’ll likely be doing that anyway when grabbing for your bags). Also, unless you’re playing doubles, the players won’t always be behind one cornhole board so you might want to go with some of the scoreboard options below.

2. Upright Magnetic Scoreboard

One solution to the problems raised above is to just get a standing scoreboard. These are easy to use with magnetic sliders that can be used for just about any lawn game. These also have the advantage because it’s easier to see for all players.

The drawback is that you’ll need to get your own post to hoist the scoreboard up and the score only goes to 21 and some people like to go higher when the games are tied. It’s still a great product and very reasonably priced, though.

3. Scoreboard & Drink holder

If you want to get a little more utility out of your scoreboard then consider going with a scoreboard stand with built-in drink holders. These scoreboards like the set below hold up to four cans, bottles, and coozies. The stand below comes with quality flip-style scoreboard which can score a game up to 29 points for each team. So if you like to score cornhole games over 21 to break ties, this scoreboard might be the best option for you.

Out of all of the scoreboard accessories, this one is also probably the easiest to view for all of the players and with the drink holders, it’s one of my favorites.

4. The Scorzie

If you want a cheaper solution you can always go with the Scorzie. This ingenious product incorporates a scoreboard for two teams on the coozie which is highly convenient. Obviously, it will be tough for others to see the score but at least one person will be keeping track of it. You can always get more than one Scorzie too so that at least a member on each team will be able to track the score.

If you’re going to be knocking back a couple of cold ones then you should also consider learning how to play come cornhole drinking games.

5. Drink holder stakes

So maybe you already have a scoreboard and you so you don’t need all the bells and whistles when it comes to a drink holder. These outdoor drink holder stakes can be stuck into the ground and give you quick and easy access to your beverage of choice without you having to worry about your drink getting kicked over.

They come in a four pack and are under $30 so the price isn’t too bad considering the long-lasting convenience these cornhole accessories offer. Unless you’re the Hulk, these stakes won’t do you much good when playing in concrete parking lots but some people rig pcp pipe stands that fit these drink holders so they can take them anywhere.

6. Cornhole board case

One thing that many people don’t realize is that cornhole boards can be pretty heavy, depending on how they are built. And not just that, but that can be difficult for smaller people to grab and carry because many of them are so bulky.

Well, if you’ve had to deal with any of those issues then a cornhole board carrying case might just be the perfect cornhole accessory for you. These cases can fit tailgate sized cornhole boards (3×2) or the ACO sized boards at 4×2. If you have a standard sized cornhole board, you should be able to fit both boards into one case. It might get a little heavy but they do offer padding on the shoulder pads which could help lessen the strain.

Even if you’re not lugging your cornhole boards around everywhere, these carrying cases can also just be a good way to store your cornhole boards to keep them from being exposed to the elements.

7. Cornhole Tote Bag

Eight bean bags are needed for cornhole play and walking around with eight 6″ by 6″ bags will have your hands full so it’s very helpful to have something like a small cornhole tote bag that you can just throw your cornhole bags in and not have to worry about them.

Do note that if you decide to go with corn-filled bags you’ll need to keep your bags dry and in good condition or else you’ll risk them going bad with mold or even getting little critters in them. To avoid that you can go with resin-filled bags if you want. To hear more about corn-filled bags versus plastic resin filled bags click here

8. Cornhole board rack

Whenever you have a cornhole board that’s a thing of beauty you may not want to just keep it stored away in some storage bag, tucked away in your garage. Instead, you might want to go with the cornhole board rack so that you can proudly display your cornhole board on the wall. This is ideal for anyone with custom made cornhole boards they love or even if you just need a convenient way to store your boards in a cluttered garage.

9. Cornhole lights

Nobody wants to end the cornhole just because the sun has gone down. Now cornhole board lights are becoming quite the rage. These cornhole accessories allow you to see your target even if the darkest of conditions. These lights are known for being very bright and simple to install making them perfect for the average cornhole player.

The only complaint is that you might need to but your own screws since there are complaints about the size/quality of the screws that come with the lights. But that’s a small expense to pay for tricking out your cornhole board.

10. Cornhole board lights

If you want to take the lighting to the next level then you can look into getting lights that will light up the entire board. While the lighting might be a little more handy when the lights are on top or on the side of the cornhole board, some people mount the lights to the bottom of the board which makes for some great backlighting. The lights should be bright enough to still provide you with enough light to aim your pitch so it’s a great option.

11. Cornhole lights

If you don’t want to mess around with installing lights on your cornhole board but you still want to play cornhole at night, there’s still an option for you. You can buy portable outdoor lights that are designed to cast low-lying light perfect for the game of cornhole. For anybody who doesn’t want to mess with installing light with screws/nails, these are probably your best option.

12. Cornhole medals

Cornhole tournaments are fun but they are even funner when you can win a little bit of bling. There’s no better way to maintain some bragging rights than a medal designed specifically for cornhole.

Final word on cornhole accessories

There are a lot of different cornhole accessories to choose from. I’m personally a big fan of the scoreboards with drink holders since those accomplish two important tasks in one. The lights are also great additions for night time play and the carrying bags can also be very handy when playing at tailgates and other events.
